Domain names must be paid in full prior to registration, are not guaranteed and subject to confirmation. A full refund will be made for all unsuccessful registrations.
Avdec does not accept liability for any special or consequential damages that you may suffer as a result of domain name registrations.
Avdec gives no warranty that the Internet Domain Name requested will not infringe the rights of any third party, and you agree to indemnify Avdec in respect of any such infringements.
Avdec acts as an agent for naming authorities and the contract for a domain name registration is between you and the naming authority and you are bound by the terms and conditions of the naming authority.
By requesting or renewing a domain name you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of both Avdec and the relevant naming authority.
Nominet require us to make you aware of the following and only apply to Nominet registered domains.
- We charge £20 + VAT per domain name which covers a 2 year period, this is also the renewal fee. We do not charge for cancellations, changes of registration or transfers (change of IPSTAG only) except where Nominet charges us a fee. This cost will be the Nominet wholesale fee plus a £25 administration both plus VAT. We will email the contact of the account, 60, 30 and 1 day before your domain name is due to expire to ensure you have time to decide if you would like to keep the domain name. Should you wish to keep the domain name, you simply need to ensure Avdec Ltd receives full payment before the renewal date. If you do not wish to renew please advise before the renewal date. If you do not respond the domain name will not be renewed and will be suspended 30 days after the expiry date and cancelled after a further 60 day grace period.
- Our maximum response time for complaints is five days.
- All customer complaints are handled by a director of Avdec Ltd. There is no escalation procedure within the company. Therefore if you are unsatisfied with our response you can escalate your complaint to Nominet directly by following this link http://www.nominet.uk/resources/complaints
